Unnamed Lake

Unnamed Lake

Unnamed Lake fish

The Unnamed Lake outpost is situated on a narrow piece of land that provides access on two sides to Unnamed Lake. This outpost is well sheltered, being like a chain of small lakes about 10 miles long with numerous bays and narrows where trophy walleye and northern pike are found. The lake water is tannic in some areas while clear in others, so anglers must always pay attention to the position of the sun. Although there are deep spots of 40 ft, the average depth is 6-12 ft. The boats at Unnamed Lake are 14-ft Lunds and Alumarines and are equipped with 9.9-hp Johnson motors while two large boat ramps and a long dock facilitate easy launching. A spare motor is onsite if needed. There is a portage lake nearby that typically consistently produces large walleye and northern pike.

This is the sole cabin on the lake, and it can accommodate up to eight guests. The fully equipped cabin boasts plenty of cupboards and counter space. Propane appliances include a cooktop and oven, two refrigerators with top freezers, and chest-type freezer. A propane gas barbecue and a fish fryer sit on the large deck outside the cabin. Hot and cold running water feed the kitchen sink as well as the shower and basin within the cabin. An outdoor privy is located nearby. Interior lights are solar power electric. The Unnamed Lake cabin also includes an inverter connected to the solar panels to provide 12V and USB power inside the cabin to power portable electronics and depth finders. There is an emergency satellite phone at Unnamed, and we will schedule a check flight during the week.
