We drove to Minneapolis to catch a flight to Boston to visit family. It has been several years since we drove this route and we were pleasantly surprised. Highway 105 and 502 were in great shape. Highway 53 south from International Falls is also in great shape and the twin highway now starts at Tower. We drove back to Red Lake in the snow–snow that will stay all winter.
