    Ryan, Shawn, and Bill went to Poirier to install the new solar panels, the charge controller and to build a new boat ramp. With these panels running the generator should be totally unnecessary

    New solar panels, charge controllers, and inverters installed at Monroe and Unnamed. Now all locations have Inverters for CPAP machines and charging of cell phones/cameras. Poirier and Whitelaw will get new solar panels soon.

    Very windy yesterday. Calm conditions today so we traveled to Poirier Lake to get it ready  and we got the boats at Nechigona ready for the guests arriving this weekend.

    We are now in the process of shutting down outposts. Today, we finished up at Poirier Lake.  We have to remove the steel pipes that hold the dock in place. We tried leaving them in once, but the ice flattened them. Now they go in every spring and out every fall.

    George and his son Derrick are at Poirier Lake this week. George has made many fly in trips and knows exactly what to bring and what not to bring. Bill couldn’t resist taking a picture of their gear and groceries for a one-week trip loaded in the Cessna 185.
