Here it is late August, and the fishing season is winding down. Still have a few groups that fish this time of the year. The pike are fattening up for the winter, so the bite is on.

Late season walleye are still being found on the ledges, drop-offs, and even alongside weed beds.

The Barnes crew had a great week at Goose. The kids caught piles of fish and chances are good we may be able to convince them to come fishing again!

Long-time guests to Unnamed Lake, Tom and his buddies from Indiana, enjoyed excellent pike and walleye fishing during their stay. They also saw three bear cubs and a couple of moose.

Longtime guest Ken lands another monster pike at Unnamed Lake. Every year, Ken manages to boat at least 3-4 large pike.
