We are back in Red Lake and winter is still here. Hardly any snow has melted and it is cold. Ryan brought the floats home. Still lots of snow and cold weather for another week. We now have two spare sets of floats.

Our aircraft is in the hanger for the annual inspection and we had it changed over to wheels. We will fly to Selkirk Manitoba on wheels in early April to get new floats installed. We are switching to larger floats with built in baggage compartments. The airplane with larger floats will not…

We have been away visiting family. While we were gone winter came to Red Lake. Ryan stayed in Red Lake for some more moose and deer hunting. Our bay is frozen over but Red Lake is still open water. The forecast for next week is warmer with rain.

This Snow Goose decided Goose Lake was as far as he needed to fly for a while. We have had many Canada Geese on Goose Lake this fall but this is the first Snow Goose we noticed.
