Tom brought his son in law and two grandsons, who live in Hawaii, to Unnamed Lake last week They caught several walleyes between 26-28 inches and 37 inch and 40 inch northerns.

The latest development in the evolution of the Loon Haunt fishing boat. The boats feature electric start Honda motor, 12 volt outlet for depth finder, swivel seats, and walk-through seats. The latest improvement is using 1/2 poly for seat tops. Everyone who has tried the new boats raves about them

Ryan has been hard at work making a new frame for our backdrop at the sports shows. Look for him at the All Canada shows in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Green Bay during January.

Ryan and Bill put in a full day at Poirier Lake today. The cabin now has a new roof. It was a long day but we were back at Goose by 7 PM. We changed the face board on the front as well as 16 inches of plywood. The old roof lasted…

The pair of Loons that traditionally nest on the island at Monroe Lake have had a very successful season so far.

We had a nasty thunder storm last evening. Rain, hail, and high winds. We lost about 15 trees but no damage to buildings. Fortunately, Ryan was in town with the airplane.

We visited the guys at Unnamed Lake yesterday and as usual they are doing great with the big northerns. This here is Ken C with a 43 inch lunker.

The fishing is still fantastic. Walleye to 27.5 inches and northern to 42 inches. We are in the middle of the Mayfly hatch and the Maribou Jig is the lure of choice. Walleye are on the Wall in 15-18 feet of water.

We never really thought about it but Goose Lake has a good population of perch and they are spawning right now.
