Very windy yesterday. Calm conditions today so we traveled to Poirier Lake to get it ready  and we got the boats at Nechigona ready for the guests arriving this weekend.

Louise, Ryan, and Bill finished up at Unnamed lake today. The cabin and the fish are all ready for the first fishermen on Sunday. From this photo you can see how much the cabin was lifted.

The cabin at Unnamed not only had to be leveled but it also had to be lifted about 10 inches.  The job required two Jackalls and 10 hydraulic jacks from four to 20 tons.

Ryan and Bill flew to Goose Lake to pick up tools and jacks to level the cabin at Unnamed Lake. No surprises at Goose Lake. The first order of business was getting the floating dock back in place. The ice left Howey Bay last night.

Louise and Bill did a quick shopping trip to Kenora today.  On the way back, we took this photo at the park on Perrault Lake. The ice along the shore is melting but it is still quite white in the middle.

We flew the airplane off the ice and landed in the river. Several others did the same thing. The ice is melting well on lakes to the west of Red Lake but it is still slow going for lakes east of Red Lake.
