New groups today. One boat (two fishermen) 150 fish total count. Then an evening of relaxing and socializing.

We are now getting into the swing of things. We have had several groups cross the border and the line ups are gone. The process is working. 

Ryan and Eliza retrieved the first load of minnows for the season.

Ryan and Eliza took the motors and all the assorted equipment over the portage for the Nechigona boats.

Ryan is back and caught the first fish. Finally a bit of good news. The Canada Border Service Agents have settled their dispute with the Canadian government and there will be no work slow down at the border.

Good news. We received an inch of rain in the past 24 hours. This along with cooler temperatures pretty well assures us of no more fire problems.

Smokey and windy today but the smoke is from fires a long way away. Nothing burning close to any of our camps right now. We portaged over to Nechigona Lake and got the ramp and boats back into position for fishermen arriving August 15. We need Ryan to portage the motors. He will…
