Goose Lake has a full camp, warm weather and fantastic fishing. What more could we ask for? The biggest walleye was 27 inches until Bryon J. arrived late on Saturday and landed a 29 inch walleye. Then on Sunday, we saw 25, 27, and 29 inch walleye.

Kyle’s dad Greg reportedly lost a couple of huge Northerns in Walleye Alley, but did manage to net this 39 inch beauty.

Grandpa Tom set the bar high for the whole family with this 30 inch walleye only two hours into the fishing trip. Fortunately, the family was there to supervise and video the effort.

Late evening, the spinnerbait below produced the 40.25 inch northern. This great pike was the last fish of the trip and was caught at the Honey Hole by Steve R with his son Taylor standing by on the landing net. 

Check out this spinner bait with the white twister body and black skirt. It was the secret lure in North Bay this morning. Note the lead head is almost completely stripped of paint. This lure worked great on both northern and walleye.

 Great weather, fantastic fishing and shore lunch as a bonus.

Meanwhile in Cabin 2, family friend, Matt K kept the trend going with this 29 inch walleye at Woman Falls.
