In the water where it belongs. Now we wait for the lakes to melt, which should be soon. Here we go, off the ice and over to the river.

Still a lot of ice in Howey Bay and beyond, but it should melt quickly as temps are steadily rising in Red Lake.

Happy Easter, everyone! Just a few short weeks until we have our first fresh walleye of the season. Ryan is in Red Lake and heading up to camp as soon as the ice is out, which will likely be the first week of May.

Scarlett and Evelyn are excited for the snow and ice to melt so they can take their new brother to camp and teach him how to catch supper! There’s plenty of snow in Red Lake this year, waist deep in the yard so we expect good water levels this spring.
