We finished installing all of the solar panels.

We assembled and installed the rails that hold the solar panels.

We built the frames for the solar panels and stood them up. We moved the batteries to the battery box.

We fastened the 6×6 timbers to the threaded rod on the sonotubes and cut down the 130-year-old jack pine tree beside the brown shed.

We built a box for the 24 batteries.

We poured concrete into the tubes and installed threaded rod anchors and rebar.

We poured a slab to mount the battery box. We dug holes to install the sonotubes and big feet anchors.

Eliza’s parents, Joni and Leelan, as well as Ryan’s dad Shaun came to camp to help with the solar project.

We had four trips in the Otter to Goose Lake with the equipment and lumber for our big solar project. The new system means we will have electric refrigerators and freezers.
