The moose hunters left on Saturday October 2–we worked our butts off but no moose. We left on Sunday October 3 after preparing the camp for winter. Ryan headed home to Minnesota and on Monday we headed west to spend time with family in British Columbia. We wish to express our…

The last group of fishermen at Goose Lake has left. We got some more replacement box springs in on the last flight. We also shipped the last of the wild rice to town.

In the past there were only a few people who knew about the fantastic fishing we have in August and September. With the shortened season this year there is now a whole group of fishermen who now know about the great late season walleye and northern fishing we offer.
