This weekend is the Red Lake winter carnival. After several months of above normal temperatures, today has gone below normal and could end up being the coldest weekend of the winter. But, the kids hockey tournament on Howey Bay is in full swing.

The deer are getting bolder and they really like the cedar tree. Only two visited this time.
