It is time to get the airplane off the ice. The wind was strong yesterday, so this morning we added fuel and took off from the ice and landed in the river. Our first guests arrive May 23, so we should be fine with ice out. 

We are back in Red Lake and the snow has started melting. Our aircraft is ready to go as the overhauled engine has been installed.  Now, we wait.

The start of another year. Already we have had 30 consecutive days of  below zero temperatures.  When the temperature does warm up it snows. The old snow blower is getting regular workouts. We celebrated Christmas in Massachusetts with family (we had serious snow)  We did luck out on the bad airline travel…
