On the morning of November 18, our bay froze over. It was 0 Fahrenheit. Goose Lake will likely freeze about this time as well.

We pulled the airplane out of the water in late October.

September turned out to be a very busy time for us. First, we had to shut down all of the outposts and the main camp plus pick rice, we ended up with just over 9,500 pound of rice.

Early September at Goose Lake, the wild rice harvest is in full swing. Nearly 4,000 pounds picked as of September 1.

The water levels at Goose Lake are about normal and the wild rice is looking good. We hope to start picking by late August and finish in late September.
