A long day getting Poirier Lake ready and bringing Matt and Jim to Poirier. Then back to camp to work late changing the wiring system over to handle the new inverter system. We moved a new refrigerator into Cabin 1 as well as our cabin. The inverter/solar system is up and running.

We wired in the charge controllers today.

We installed a cable from the generator to the inverter. The inverter is very heavy and we ended up using a small come-a-long to lift it into place.

We wired up the panels to the panel combiners.

We finished installing all of the solar panels.

We assembled and installed the rails that hold the solar panels.

We built the frames for the solar panels and stood them up. We moved the batteries to the battery box.

We fastened the 6×6 timbers to the threaded rod on the sonotubes and cut down the 130-year-old jack pine tree beside the brown shed.

We built a box for the 24 batteries.

We poured concrete into the tubes and installed threaded rod anchors and rebar.
