Several operators have their airplanes in the river and are ready to go as soon as we get some open water. So far we have not had much wind so the ice is melting in place. As soon as we get a good wind many lakes will open up.

It is time to get the airplane off the ice. The wind was strong yesterday, so this morning we added fuel and took off from the ice and landed in the river. Our first guests arrive May 23, so we should be fine with ice out.

Paul N. who has fished Unnamed Lake every third year in late August for the past 30 years, brought a group this year that managed to land a 42 inch northern and a 28 inch walleye.

Goose Lake has a full camp, warm weather and fantastic fishing. What more could we ask for? The biggest walleye was 27 inches until Bryon J. arrived late on Saturday and landed a 29 inch walleye. Then on Sunday, we saw 25, 27, and 29 inch walleye.
