    Louise has been very busy with the weed eater. It is a STIHL FS38. (a fantastic machine). As you can see she has cleared a spot in front where we can land a helicopter if necessary.

    We flew to town today to get parts, groceries, and our second vaccination. In two weeks, we will be ready to go. Meanwhile, the Smithson Shore Lunch Shack doubles as a rain proof shop to make new window sills.

    Today marks day three of nasty, cold, windy and rainy weather. We had an inch and a quarter of rain which we needed. As you can see the reef markers are not in yet. We only have one boat ready to go but we can be fully operational with a few days notice.

    We took a short flight to check out the Monroe Lake  Outpost camp. The grass and brush will need cutting but everything else is just fine.
