Before everyone gets too carried away about the damage caused by a forest fire. At right is a picture of the shoreline of Monroe across from the cabin. As you can see there is still a lot of green left and more will come each year. A fire is not the end it is the beginning. That old bush that people love is the result of a fire within the last 100 years. The available firewood will last for many years.
