Most of the snow has melted but Howey Bay is still pretty white. We had six inches of snow a week ago and the nice fresh snow reflects the sunlight back, delaying the ice melting. We have had insufficient rain to get the ice dark enough to really help with the melting. First fishermen arrive in four weeks.
